New Forest Cycling Trip - November 2004

The New Forest is a national park that is situated very close to Southampton.  We took a train to the town of Brockenhurst, then hired bicycles to explore this beautiful area.  It was also an opportunity to have lunch at a traditional English pub / restaurant.

Click on the photos to see them full-size.

Ready to go: Diego, Sara, Vlasto, Viera and her son.

Look how far we've cycled already!.

Passing a New Forest pony.

After all that exercise, it was time for a wonderful lunch at The Turfcutters Arms for some excellent traditional English food .

A whole shoulder of lamb and a breast of duck in front of an open fire.  Perfect!

Kids can come too!
