The biggest annual event in Southampton is the Boat Show, which takes place every September. You can see lots of luxury yachts and even look inside them! There were a lot of other attractions at the show, such as diving, a Honda F1 simulator and the ship HMS Bounty, which was used in the film Pirates of the Carribean.
Another event in the same month was the Tour of Britain. This is a cycling race in 6 stages. The first finished in Southampton, and the competitors rode past the Lewis School!
