Lewis School Diary - October 2007

October saw two important changes at the Lewis School. Firstly, we became a member of Quality English; and secondly, the pavement in front of the school got a whole new look.

We wanted to give the front a more united feeling by digging up the old surface and laying down concrete with a cobble and paving effect. Our aim was to match the original period of the buildings which were built around 1790. We have waited a long time for this and are delighted with the result.

Above - The finished look. Below - digging up the front and laying down the concrete.
