August was our busiest month this summer, so we had an action-packed social activities programme. We went on trips to Oxford, London, Brighton, Bath and the Isle of Wight for the Cowes Week sailing regatta. There were also trips to pubs and restaurants, plus a great day of windsurfing.

Sad News
We were deeply saddened to hear that Raushan Aitzhanova from Kazakhstan lost her life in a car accident on 4 August, a few days after returning to her country.
Raushan was a very popular student who was at the school for two periods, from October to December 2006 and from May to July 2007. She leaves behind her two young children and our deepest sympathies go to them, her sister Raikhan, and her whole family.

Our Junior website has photos of our centres in Reading and Southampton. We also hosted the Doha group from Qatar for an extra two weeks.
Finally, well done to Richard, who passed his DELTA qualification and is now the school's Director of Studies.
