Yet again it was a boiling hot weekend. Perfect, then, for some watersports. At the Lewis School, we are very fortunate to have two watersports experts among our staff. Ian is a fantastic windsurfer and Sharon is an expert in canoeing and kayaking.
We went to the outdoor activities centre in Calshot, near Southampton, a popular destination for sailing, kite surfing and all kinds of sports. Sharon and Ian provided tuition, so even beginners were welcome on the trip.
The day was a great success, with sun, fun and food, and many of us learning a new skill. We'll be back again soon!
