Lewis School Diary - November 2006

In late November, a German Christmas Market opened in Southampton, selling sausages, sweets, beer, mulled wine and gifts. Anyone in the city centre this month will have noticed the shops were particular busy with people doing their Christmas shopping.

There was a lot of activity as the school too, as both staff and students were busy rehearsing their acts (dancing, music and comedy) for the End-of-Year Party - the most important social event of the year!

Other social activities this month included a farewell party for Jesus, Lorenzo and birthday boy Juan-Luis from Spain. We were treated to some lovely paella, tortilla and sangria. There was also a London trip with a difference as we went to the popular Camden Market. Ian organised a repeat of the recent whisky-tasting evening, this time with an impressive multimedia presentation. Abby also led a cross-stitch class.

Alistair and Giovanni welcomed a group of Russian agents.

Autumn at the school...

... and in the park opposite.

This month we have also welcomed a number of agents from Italy and Russia. We would like thank you very much for taking the time to visit our school.
