New Forest Walk - July 2006

Sunshine, dragonflies by a stream, ponies roaming free and of course lots of trees! That was our day in the New Forest.

Leading the way: the teachers from the Basque country, Spain.

A short train journey was enough to take us deep into the forest. We arrived at the small town of Brockenhurst and walked into the countryside. We also had a traditional pub lunch outside. It was a great taste of rural England on a lovely sunny day.

At the station: Isaac, Jana, Alvaro, Romana, Adel, Essam and Mohammed.

A beautiful thatched pub.

Alvaro and Isaac make friends with the locals.

We got really close to nature.

Paddling in the stream.

Walking is thirsty work!
