On a baking hot day in June, Adam led a trip to the capital city, and what a day it was too! With a brief glimpse of Prince Charles, a naked cyclist rally and the sight of hundreds of Royal Guards rehearsing for the Queen's official birthday, this turned out to be one of the most eventful Lewis School trips in recent years!

The Royal Guards rehearse for next week's 'Trooping the Colour', a ceremony for the Queen's official birthday.
The photos and captions below tell the story of this very memorable day. Click on any photo to see it full-size. A big thank you to Man-Kyu, Cagdas and Adam for the photos.
