University of Stirling

The University of Stirling is located approximately 3km from the centre of Stirling. Its campus is regularly described as one of the most beautiful, set in 120 hectares at the foot of the Ochil Hills.

Home to 9,000 students, it has its own 'loch' (the Scottish word for lake) and even a castle! This is a recently refurbished arts centre with theatre and cinema. There are also excellent sports facilities, with a tennis centre and gym, a 50-metre swimming pool and a nine-hole golf course.
