Stirling Centre

Academic Programme

We have our own syllabus, designed specifically for our summer centres. Lesson content reflects traditions and modern life in English-speaking countries. It focuses on speaking and listening skills and is designed to facilitate communication and friendship in a multicultural classroom.

Programme Details

• 15 hours of lessons per week
• Maximum of 15 students per class
• All learning materials provided
• Certificates and reports

Placement

On the first day, students are given a grammar test and a short interview to check their level of English, and are placed in a suitable class. During their stay, we monitor students’ progress and they have the opportunity to move to a different class if we feel it would be beneficial.

Syllabus Overview

The syllabus is designed to accommodate new students arriving at any time and existing students being promoted to a higher level. Our syllabus has an emphasis on speaking and listening skills, and is supplemented with material related to this centre, to integrate with our Activities Programme.
