Today was a break from lessons and a chance to visit Bath, one of England's most beautiful cities. The city is named after the Roman baths that used to be here, but most of the historical buildings are from the 18th and 19th centuries, when the author Jane Austen lived here. Anyone who has seen the films Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility will be familiar with her work, and as you walk through the streets you can sometimes feel the same atmosphere.
It was a beautiful sunny day and we had a guided tour on an open-top double decker bus. Some of us even saw Stonehenge on the way home. A fantastic day! Click each photo to see a larger image.
