Launch of Lewis Reggio Calabria - Sep 2009
We are delighted to announce the opening of the first overseas branch of the Lewis School, located in Reggio Calabria, Italy.
The new school, under the management of Director James McKeown, aims to bring to the local area the teaching style and quality of the Lewis School, and indeed boasts two teachers from our Southampton school, Alex Wade and Kirk Stewart.
The opening was commemorated with a launch party and press conference, the latter taking place at the Palazzo San Giorgio. Present at the event were Alistair Walker, owner and director of the Lewis School of English; Giovanni Rottura, Head of Marketing & Operations; James McKeown, director of the Lewis Reggio Calabria branch; teachers Alex Wade and Kirk Stewart; and councillor Clotilde Minasi. Also present were five students who received scholarships for the new school.
