Cowes Week Trip - August 2009
Cowes Week is a world-famous yachting event that takes place on the Isle of Wight, a beautiful island near Southampton. Each year, around competitors take part in a week-long sailing regatta. We visited the event to see the excellent Friday night celebrations.
This included a spectacular aerobatic display by the Red Arrows (the display team of Britain's Royal Air Force) and a fireworks display. The weather was fantastic too!
