A Fresh Approach - Moscow, January 2010
Our first teaching methodology workshop in 2010 took place in Moscow, at the impressive 5-star hotel, Hilton Leningradskaya.
Entitled 'A Fresh Approach: Teaching Beyond the Book', the event focused on the use of materials other than coursebooks in language teaching.
In the first session, Richard Hamilton combined a theoretical discussion on non-coursebook-based teaching with a demonstration of practical ideas for classroom use. Following this, Tom Bradbury introduced the audience to wide range of Internet resources for classroom use, and presented his new website for teachers and students of English, TeachYa.com.
The event was co-ordinated by Giovanni Rottura, and run in collaboration with our partners Eckersley Oxford. The Fresh Approach team would like to thank everyone who came, and hope you will keep in touch.
