ITC Capriotti Group from Italy - Aug / Sept 04

Week 2

Here is what the ITC Capriotti group got up to during their second and final week at the school.

Saturday: The group went on a day trip to Oxford.  We visited some of the colleges and looked around the Ashmolean Museum.

Sunday: A trip to London, to see all the famous sights: Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace.

Monday: Back to school again! After class, we went on the Titanic Trail to see places in the city connected to the famous ship, which sailed from Southampton in 1912.

Tuesday:  Lessons as usual, and then sports, including badminton, basketball and football.  Well done to Irena, who discovered her natural talent for badminton!

Wednesday: The afternoon's activity was a trip to Salisbury, a small, historical city near Southampton with a beautiful cathedral.  We went on a guided tour of the cathedral, and drove past Stonehenge on the way home!  As you can see, it was a beautiful sunny day.

Thursday: After class, we visited Southampton's Maritime Museum.

Friday: A goodbye barbecue party at the school. Everyone received their certificates, and we finished the evening with some karaoke.  Annalisa treated us to some great vocals, and Bane won the prize for Best Student.  Well done!

Saturday: Off to Gatwick Airport again to catch the plane to Italy. Have a safe journey!
