Your Classes

Lesson Times
Your normal timetable will be from 9.30 to 13.00 for General English and Examination Courses, and 9.30 to 15.30 for Intensive English and Combination Courses. Please note that in busy times, particularly the summer, your lessons may be timetabled any time between 9.30 and 17.30, and your schedule may vary from week to week.

Your First Day On your first morning we will give you a written test and a short interview to find your level of English. We know that many of you have not spoken English for a long time and that you may feel nervous, but we take this into consideration. After the test, we will give you a guided tour of the school and the city centre. You will then meet your teacher, who will take you to your first class

Changing Level
We usually have 6-8 levels of General English classes. Each week, we discuss students’ progress at our teachers’ meeting and we will move you to a higher level when we feel you are ready.

Changing Course
We can transfer you to another course with no extra administration fee.

This does not apply to Private (1:1)Tuition.

Homework
Your teachers will give you homework as a follow-up to the lesson.

This is generally optional. You can also use our Study Centre

if you want to do extra practice.
